Modern Student Living
Having your own bedroom in a shared
apartment gives you privacy without missing out on the fun of living with
friends. At Redpoint College Station, all bedrooms are single, with private
bathrooms, so you’ll have your own space to relax and recharge. The cottages
and townhomes are two to three stories, with 9-foot ceilings and open
floorplans that make everything feel roomy and comfortable. Need furniture? A
package is available to make moving in a breeze. Whether you’re looking for
cozy two-bedroom layouts or five bedroom apartments near Texas A&M University,
there’s a floorplan that fits your style. These homes combine comfort,
convenience, and a great location, perfect for creating your ideal student
living experience.
The Cost of Living in College Station, Texas
Living in College Station, Texas, can feel
pretty affordable compared to bigger cities. Rent here is reasonable,
especially if you're willing to live with roommates or off-campus. Grocery
bills won’t break the bank either, and there are plenty of budget-friendly
options when it comes to dining out. The area is known for having a strong
community vibe, and it’s easy to find activities without spending much.
Utilities tend to be moderate, and transportation is straightforward with most
places being just a short drive or bike ride away. Of course, prices vary
depending on your lifestyle, but overall, College Station offers a comfortable
balance between affordability and convenience. It’s a good spot for students or
anyone wanting a laid-back atmosphere.
St. Mary's Catholic Center in College Station, TX
St. Mary’s Catholic Center is a welcoming
spot for students and locals alike. It’s right next to Texas A&M, so it’s a
popular place for Aggies looking to get involved in their faith. The center
offers a variety of services, from daily Mass to social events and volunteer
opportunities. Whether you’re new to the area or just looking for a community,
St. Mary’s is a great place to meet people. The vibe is relaxed, and there’s
always something going on, like Bible studies or youth group meetings. If
you’re looking to get some quiet time, the chapel provides a peaceful place for
reflection. It’s a down-to-earth community where you can grow spiritually while
also having a good time with others.
New Business Slated To Take Over Vacant Restaurant Building
It’s exciting to see a new business finally moving into the old Red Lobster building on University Drive. That spot has been sitting empty for way too long, and it’s great that a company from Tyler plans to bring their Javi’s concept to College Station. A fresh restaurant can really breathe new life into the area, especially in such a high-traffic location. It’s interesting how plans for a Tex-Mex place fell through in 2022, but hopefully, this new venture sticks. Residents and students are always on the lookout for more dining options, so this could be a nice addition. Now the big question is when it’ll open and what kind of menu they’ll offer. It’s something to look forward to.
